Barney absolutely LOVES his Hard Bottom extender seat cover. And so do his humans. Extraordinarily designed with zippered side panels and center mesh vent, plus a bottom that levels the contoured seats in our Acura MDX. The hammock-type seat protector was adequate but not nearly as comfortable for Barney and pragmatic for us. I’m ordering a 2nd for our Genesis!

So far this seems do the job! I like the rear seat clips that secure it from sliding around and love that it comes in a lighter color so it won't absorb so much heat like other covers I've used. It fits pretty well on my 2017 Subaru outback but the corners at the door are a bit bunched up making the zipper challenging at times. It keeps a great majority of the car protected except above the door guard, the small pups still put their paws up on the door to look out the window. It's a solid design that is well thought out to address issues that other covers usually have, however I had hoped the quality / assembly would be higher quality given the price point. Upon receiving the cover, there were a few little red beetles under the plastic before I opened it so maybe happened at manufacturing or packaging? The area by the console zipper was frayed while some ends were not, and the quilting was coming undone at some points as pictured.

We recently purchased this seat cover for our 120-pound Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, and it has exceeded my expectations. Installation was straightforward. We did put it in backward the first time, but once we figured that out, it was very intuitive. The only thing that wasn't immediately obvious was that the side support straps attach to the door grab handles—I checked the instructions for that, and after that everything fit perfectly. The quality feels excellent, and it's very secure. The cover anchors to the child-seat tethers, wraps around the headrests, and the side panels stay in place well. Even with some hand issues, I was able to install it without too much difficulty. The best part was my dog's reaction. He climbed right in and immediately laid down, completely relaxed. He actually seemed to accept this setup better than riding in the back seat of our SUV. That alone told me he was comfortable. If you're looking for a sturdy, well-designed seat cover for a large dog, I would definitely recommend this one.

Years ago, we bought a floor hammock for the back seat area of our Silverado, which is still going strong. Nothing has broken or torn on it! It was perfect for our big dog. Now that we have a small dog, we thought we'd try the Hard Bottom Extender and it's wonderful. In the few seconds it takes to unfold it, it's pretty much installed! Ford F-150 Supercab 2015. Received within days of ordering. Feels like quality materials, craftsmanship, and comes with a nice zippered tote bag. It is a significant improvement for my dog with a sturdy wide deck and protective door coverings. We’ve previously used soft hammocks, but in the Supercab hammocks just don’t provide enough room or support. I can’t wait for the next road trip and know my boy is riding along in comfort.

Seat extender/ cover installed quick & easily. It came just in time for our 18 hr drive to Fl. w/ our pup in our new truck. He loved it and so do we! Now, I suggest you make an extender/ cover for the passenger front seat of a mini van/ car!! I know I wouldn’t be the only person to purchase this!

This is our second rear seat protector from 4Knines. We needed the extra room the hard bottom protector gives once we recently acquired our third Labrador, Dani. It fits our X5 perfectly even with the front seats all the way back. Prince and Sam have a tendency to want to ride shotgun even if the front seat is occupied! I drive a 2023 Ford Ranger and purchased the regular sized cover. Have been using it for about a month now and tested it with 3 dogs. The middle mesh area seems a little flimsy for my taste however, all of my adult dogs are trained and don't even mess with it or try to get over it. In that regard the mesh works as intended. I have had a 15lb, 30lb, and 60lb dog test the cover and extension. It held up well. Dogs love it. Fur and dogs stay in the backseat and the door covers are amazing as well. Only issue i see some folks having is the cover itself does make your dog slide a bit. If you dont like that I would suggest gettin somethin that you can lay on this cover. Overall will purchase another for my mother's jeep.

The XL hard bottom extender seat cover works wonderfully for our two dogs. We took a 3 day trip and the hard bottom provided great support, giving them plenty of space to stretch out and stay comfortable the entire ride. It protected the seats perfectly while keeping the dogs secure and stable. There's also plenty of room underneath for extra storage without any concern of the dogs falling through or losing footing. I absolutely love the hard bottom extender version I bought! I have a golden retriever and Belgian malinois so not small dogs, this version basically doubled the usable room where they can lay down while on trips. And its easy to clean, super easy to set up aswell. The side door is very convenient but sometimes depending where my dogs are sitting/standing it can be a pain to re zip up. The only downside is have is the middle mesh area that separates the front from rear are of the car, it sits very low so the Malinois and retriever can both get over it pretty easy. Overall 9/10 would be a perfect 10 if the mesh was higher up. The hard bottom holds both their weight really well and doesn't flex!

It's a much better protector than the previous one I had. It does give a lot more room. It's easier to access stuff underneath or next to my seat. I can comfortably fit all three of my dogs back there. I like the better seat latchers on this one. I also very much enjoy the design for protecting the door and the ease of using it. I feel like this will last a long time and an AMAZING price.

I just got my backseat extender and I must say that I am impressed with the quality of this product. I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this item. I bought another competitor brand and immediately sent it back for being of poor quality and over priced. Trust me when I tell you that this brand is the bomb 💣. I have had 4 Kines hammocks for a while now in both cars, and have been happy. I had washed them a million times and they held up but were getting worn. My new suv has a large middle and felt a new, hard bottom hammock that I have seen , would suit the situation better. I LOVE IT ! It fits great, and I love the side panels , which keep the dog hair in the hammock, hahaha.

I have had 4 Kines hammocks for a while now in both cars, and have been happy. I had washed them a million times and they held up but were getting worn. My new suv has a large middle and felt a new, hard bottom hammock that I have seen , would suit the situation better. I LOVE IT ! It fits great, and I love the side panels , which keep the dog hair in the hammock, hahaha.

I've been looking for a better car harness/sling for my Old English Sheepdog for a while, and I highly recommend this. The one we had been using previously did not have grip on the bottom, so she would slide all over the backseat any time we took a turn (even driving gently). I researched forever and found this brand - after seeing it had all the features I wanted, I decided to give them a try. Not only did it ship super fast, but the product itself is really great quality. We took her out for a test drive last night on a windy road and she did not slip once. I love that it also has the side panels that can zip open and close, because it prevents her from slipping off the seat and having her legs get stuck between the seat and the door (which had happened with the old sling), as well as the mesh vent section so she can actually get some much needed AC on her. It's comfy, water resistant, slip resistant, designed well, and fits perfectly in our SUV. She's very happy with it, and so are we!
