4Knines wasn’t created in a boardroom. It was created in a driveway after yet another car ride ended with scratched leather.
Like so many pet owners, founders Jim and Maggie shared everything with their Dobermans—road trips, daily errands, and weekend adventures. But every solution they tried fell short. Covers slid out of place. Materials tore too easily. Designs ignored how vehicles and dogs actually move together.
So they stopped searching for something better—and built it themselves.
What started as a solution for their own family became something bigger: a mission to create protective gear that performs when it matters most.
