September Charity Spotlight on Noah’s Arks Rescue

“We are not a shelter.  Our wish and lifelong hope is that our Society becomes educated in the ethical treatment of all animals and to stop the senseless killing of animals that have been tortured and abused.”

Noah’s Arks Rescue: 4Knines Charity Spotlight September 2016

Headed by President, Jennifer Simple Smith, based out of South Carolina, Noah’s Arks Rescue became a 501c3 a Not for Profit Organization in 2009. Noah’s Arks Rescue supplies emergency medical, surgical and rehabilitation to abused animals.

Noah’s Arks Rescue: 4Knines Charity Spotlight September 2016 With Chief CHIEF – 2 to 3-year-old Walker Hound Mix. Chief was in a bad dog fight while in the presence of his old family. They did not take care of him after the fight. Approx. Four weeks later Chief was picked up by Cumberland County Animal Control. Chief has an infection in his lymph nodes. He was anemic, and he was HW Positive. They only way to save Chief was to amputate his leg.

Chief is now healthy and well on his way to a HAPPY and SAFE Forever Life. Chief is timid but LOVES the company of other dogs. He likes all people. Going slow with him will sure win him over. Chief is a sweet boy who gets along just fine without his front leg. He will make an incredible life companion.

Chief is just one of the many Blessed Furry Angels that has been given a second chance at life by Noah’s Arks Rescue and is looking for their “furever” home.

  • Shadow is a LOVE bug!
  • Jemmi is SWEET as pie!
  • Freckles just want to walk in the sunshine, sniff the trees and play ball.

You can read more about Chief and all the other beautiful Furry Friends  that are ready to be adopted.

Noah’s Arks Rescue Mission is to bring awareness to all abused animals in this country that are being euthanized instead of being helped.

“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”- Gandhi

The Organization works with various groups to rescue and rehabilitate abused animals throughout the year. In total, approximately 150 dogs were served during 2014 and these were all placed in homes except for those that are still being rehabilitated. Noah’s Arks Rescue is the last resort for the animals they take into their program, without them these babies would be euthanized.

“The assumption that animals are without rights and the illusion that our treatment of them has no moral significance is a positively outrageous example of Western crudity and barbarity. Universal compassion is the only guarantee of morality.” ― Arthur Schopenhauer, The Basis of Morality

Noah’s Arks Rescue, a South Carolina based Not for Profit, relies only on volunteers and donations to speak for animals who cannot speak for themselves.

Without support, this Organization would not be able to serve as “Angels of Mercy” to these precious Fur Babies. To learn more about the mission and work of Noah’s Arks Rescue, please visit their Website and Facebook page. As you read the heartbreaking and inspirational stories of these deserving animals, please consider joining 4Knines in supporting this worthy organization by making a donation. Together we can help Noah’s Arks Rescue continue saving and honoring animals’ lives, one paw at a time.
